Experience a window into living mycological traditions rooted in community and generational knowledge. Q&A to follow.
Now in their seventh year of hosting mushroom adventures in Mexico, theyโve built deep partnerships with Zapotec, Mixtec, Pjiekakjoo, and Mazahua communities. Alongside indigenous guides, mycologists, chefs, and biologists, they exchange knowledge on foraging, identification, and traditional uses of mushrooms. Zachary brings 25 years of expertise in foraging, cooking, and mycology, while Kimberly shares cultural insight and the growing art of mushroom dyeing. Through The Fungivore and Traveling Traders Bazaar, their mission is simple: to help others see the world through new eyesโand leave with new connections.
