Myco Bricks with Tradd Cotter and Treehouse Trade School
What if the future of building wasnโ€™t just sustainableโ€”but alive? Treehouse Trade School, in collaboration with mycologist Tradd Cotter, is exploring innovative building methods using living materials. This session introduces Living Mycelium Clay, an experimental process that combines mushrooms and native clay to create self-binding, regenerative bricks. Attendees will learn how mycelium can be harnessed as a natural builder, opening the door to a new generation of eco-conscious construction.

Treehouse Trade School is a regenerative education initiative and permaculture homestead based in Seneca, South Carolina. Founded by Scott Bunn, the school focuses on hands-on training in sustainable building, permaculture design, and practical homesteading skills. Through immersive learning and community-driven projects, Treehouse Trade School is cultivating a network of makers, growers, and builders committed to resilient, land-based living.
