Joshโ€™s contributions to foraging have also supported conservation efforts, including the rediscovery of Crataegus austromontana, a species once thought extinct. With graduate training in public health and social work, he integrates mindfulness, Nonviolent Communication, and nature connection into his practice. Through over 100 individual sessions and 100 group experiences, Josh has helped others cultivate emotional awareness, behavior change, and meaningful connection. Beginning in May, he will expand his offerings to include nature-based counseling and personalized health support rooted in a whole-person, nature-connected approach.
